Norman Granz - Jazz in MontreuxTommy Flanagan is renowned for his flawless and stylish playing, which made him the accompanist of choice for many, most especially Ella Fitzgerald. This 1977 Montreux concert however sees him performing in his own right as the leader of his trio, with Keeter Betts on bass and Bobby Durham on drums. It is immediately clear why Tommy Flanagan was called the 'poet of the piano'.
