King's Singer's Choral DVD

Re-release on DVD with Down To The River To Pray in place of Jingle Bells. The Singers are shown working with some selected High School choirs from Texas in a format similar to the Master Classes they present as they tour.

The 50-minute session balances interviews with the current Kings, workshops they perform with several Texas high school choirs, and their performances on stage embodying the suggestions they make to the choirs. Among the pieces performed are Star of the County Down, Bob Chilcott's arrangement of Shenandoah, Mairi's Wedding, Gordon Langford's version of Jingle Bells, Tallis' If Ye Love Me, the great battle sequence from Jannequin's La Guerre, and choral standard Il Est Bel Et Bon. With ample advice for singers and choral directors alike, this video will inspire improved performances!
