Each of the etudes in Duet Yourself Book 2 is a duet specifically formulated so that the snare and bass parts can be played separately by two different drummers, or by one drummer playing both parts at the same time - hence the title, Duet Yourself.

Most of the etudes will prove somewhat challenging, especially when played at a significant tempo. Moreover, certain pieces are totally different from etudes seen in any other book. By the time you have successfully completed all the etudes your reading, rudimental and other technical facility, as well as your skill in hand-foot coordination will have been enhanced significantly.
