The purpose of this method is to give musicians of any stylistic background precise indications on the use of the pentatonic scale. More precisely, the possible applications of the above on the modes deriving from scales in common use. The applications are aimed at improvisational concepts.

The real pentatonics, i.e. those generated by the scales, and the artificial or modified pentatonics will be analysed. In this method the application of notes on modes and cadences is far from the concept of “right or wrong notes”, the musician will make his choices.
