This is the Godmother of Salsa's 1974 performance in front of 80,000 fans in Zaire, in conjunction with the "Rumble in the Jungle," the famous boxing match between Mohammed Ali and George Foreman.
Featuring footage included in the excellent documentary of that event, WHEN WE WERE KINGS, this program is a vivid document of an amazing night of salsa that featured legendary musicians such as Ray Barretto, Santos Colon, Cheo Feliciano, Larry Harlow, Pupi Lagarretta, Hector Lavoe, Nicky Marrero, Ismael Miranda, Ismael Quintana, Roberto Roena, Jorge Santana, Yomo Toro, and Bobby Valentin.
