There was a special atmosphere at the Club Montmartre: it was the birthday of the great Ben Webster. Clark Terry was a close friend of Ben Webster as well as member of Ellington's band. it was only fitting that much of Terry's concert would be devoted to ellington standards.
Duke Jordan was always a resourceful pianist. in this program he performs with Clark terry as well as with his own trio.
