Cathy Schane-Lydon  - The Total Classical Pianist
A Fun and Comprehensive Overview of Classical Piano Playing
by Cathy Schane-Lydon

With "The Total Classical Pianist", you go from from the beginning level all the way to advanced by learning and playing real classical music that is recognizable, tuneful, and pleasurable for both the player and the listener.
Taking a practical approach, the book uses music that is almost entirely based on melody and chords.
Instead of learning and playing individual notes, you will actually see the chord patterns within the music, making sight-reading easier.
Dozens of well-known classical tunes are included from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and more.
The enclosed CD contains live performances of examples and pieces from the book.
