The Grammy-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet teams up with legendary comedian Phil Proctor (of Firesign Theatre fame) to create a unique synthesis of virtuoso narrative and musicianship in “The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote: Words and Music from the Time of Cervantes”.
It tell the story of the famous knight of La Mancha, while LAGQ plays brilliant new arrangements of pieces from Spain’s Golden Age, music that Cervantes could have heard during his lifetime.
Included are some of the “Greatest Hits of the Spanish Renaissance,” including favorites like Gaurdame las Vacas and Ludovico’s Harp.

As a special bonus, LAGQ plays a mini-recital of “Barber of Seville Overture” by Rossini and “Carmen Suite” by Bizet. Filmed in front of a live audience at the Sheldon Theater in St. Louis, this is a truly innovative and unforgettable theatrical event.
